  • Sitting with patients to offer respite for those giving care*

  • Visiting patients with your certified therapy dog*

  • Playing music

  • Hairdresser- for our home bound patients

  • Welcome and support family / visitors at our 5 bedroom patient care Hale

  • Meal pickup and Delivery for our Hale patients (Wailuku/Kahului area)

  • Shopping at Maui Food Bank for families

  • Bereavement / Grief support

  • Fundraising & other Event support

  • Administrative skills

  • Community outreach

  • Handyman skills for facility and/or equipment maintenance

  • Landscaping and/or gardening

  • Serving on Hospice Maui’s Board of Directors and/or Advisory Committees

  • Other skills or ideas?  Let us know!

*Direct patient support roles require completion of our Compassionate Care of the Dying training
